Miralem Pjanic remained at Barcelona after Juventus decided not to proceed with the purchase of the midfielder. Now Besiktas is reportedly in advanced talks to secure the Bosnian midfielder.
Pjanic was hardly linked with a return to the Serie A giants during the summer transfer window, with Juventus particularly interested in securing his services. Also Inter Milan, Fiorentina and AS Roma was keen on the player.
However, the Old Lady decided against signing the player as Barcelona refused to pay a part of his salary during his loan spell in Turin.
According to Turkish media, Besiktas are now in advanced talks to sign the former Juventus and Roma playmaker.
Sky Sport Italia’s Fabrizio Romano claims the representatives of the Turkish club are now negotiating personal terms with the Bosnia international who can move to Besiktas on a temporary deal.
