The move comes after Leverkusen's negotiations with Bayern Munich for the Germany international reportedly stalled, opening the door for Erik ten Hag's side to swoop in.

Tah played a vital role for Die Werkself last season, featuring 48 times across all competitions, notching six goals in the process, as he helped the German side go unbeaten in the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. This has led to several clubs across Europe showcasing an interest in the 28-year-old.

Manchester United are understood to be eager to add to their defensive options this summer having seen Raphaël Varane leave the club, leaving the fallen Premier League giants short on defensive options. Alongside Tah, United have shown an interest in Bayern Munich defender Matthijs de Ligt and Lille starlet Leny Yoro.

- Paris Saint-Germain are set to revive their interest in Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, according to L'Equipe. PSG are understood to be long-term admirers of Osimhen, who notched 17 goals in all competitions last season to back-up his 2022-23 campaign where he netted an impressive 31 goals as Napoli romped to the Scudetto. However, whilst the 25-year-old has reportedly garnered significant interest from across Europe, a move away from the Italian outfit has not yet materialised. It is reported that while PSG are not willing to activate the €130 million release clause, they are hoping to be able to negotiate a valuation with Napoli.

- West Ham United have enquired over a potential deal for Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka, per Football Insider. The Hammers have been on the lookout for a new right-back after Ben Johnson left the club to join Ipswich Town on a free transfer. Wan-Bissaka, 26, played in Man United's first preseason game on Monday -- a 1-0 loss to Rosenborg -- and is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer. The report reveals that United have come to terms that they will make a "huge loss" on the 26-year-old, who joined the fallen Premier League giants for £45m from Crystal Palace in 2019.

- Liverpool are set to receive a significant approach from Saudi Arabia for goalkeeper Alisson Becker, according to Football Insider. It is reported that interest in the Brazilian is growing in the Saudi Pro League, however, Liverpool are not currently looking to part ways with the 31-year-old. Alisson still has two years left on his current deal at Anfield, which does not place the Reds under immediate pressure to facilitate a departure.

- Juventus will not make a concrete approach for Jadon Sancho unless Federico Chiesa departs the club this summer, says TeamTalk. Italy international Chiesa has attracted the attention of Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur, while Juve are choosing to focus on strengthening other areas of their squad before considering a move for Sancho.

- Panama international Roderick Miller is preparing to ink a deal with the Western Sydney Wanderers, according to Ricardo Icaza. The centre-back, capped 44 times by Los Canaleros appears set to replace former Lyon star Marcelo, who terminated his contract with A-League side earlier this month.

- Al Nassr and Manchester City are struggling to agree on a deal for goalkeeper Ederson, according to Fabrizio Romano. Whilst Ederson has already agreed personal teams with the Saudi Pro League side, City have rebuffed Al-Alami's initial proposal worth €30m. The Premier League champions are seeking at least €50m to part ways with the Brazil keeper, meaning that the deal still has significant work left to ensure that it gets finalised.
