Tottenham Hotspur forward Dele Alli has signed a new six-year contract, tying him to the club until 2024.

Alli, 22, joins teammate Harry Kane, who also signed a new deal through the same period in June.

The signing will ease fears about Tottenham's ability to keep their best players at a time when the cost of their new stadium is rising due to delays.

Alli joined Tottenham in February 2015 from Milton Keynes Dons, but remained on loan until a permanent move at the end of the campaign. He was named PFA Young Player of the Year and earned a spot in the PFA Team of the Year in each of his first two seasons at Tottenham.

He has scored two goals this season, one in the Premier League, and has 48 goals in all competitions across four seasons for Spurs, including a career-high 22 in 2016-17, including 18 league goals.

Tottenham have locked down a number of their top players by handing them new deals in recent months. Davinson Sanchez also signed a six-year contract in the summer, Son Heung-Min and Harry Winks all committed themselves to the club until 2023 and Erik Lamela extended his stay until 2022.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino also signed a new contract with Tottenham in May, tying him to the club until 2023.
