Tottenham attracted a Premier League record crowd of 80,827 fans against Liverpool in October

Tottenham's New Year's Eve game against West Ham at Wembley has been moved to 4 January because of safety concerns.

The Premier League made the decision after the stadium's management limited the crowd for the original date to 43,000, less than half the capacity.

This was due to transport concerns, as resources at nearby tube stations are being deployed elsewhere across London.

The match, to be played two days after Spurs visit Swansea, will kick off at 20:00 GMT.
