Tottenham are planning to strengthen their attack during the January transfer window, according to Football Insider.

The London club are not expected to make major spending commitments in January, unlike during the previous summer transfer window.

Their main priority is reportedly the signing of a forward rather than a central defender. That is despite speculation linking Tottenham with Bayern Munich defender Kim Min-jae.

Tottenham are bottom of the Premier League after five matches, having collected just two points.

They will visit Manchester United on 10 October in their sixth league fixture of the season. The match is scheduled to begin at 19:30 Moscow time.
