Ayew, who is the son of former footballer Abedi Pele, has been with Marseille for nearly a decade but his contract is up at the end of the season and it seems like he will move on in the summer.

He has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool (Metro) but now it seems as if Spurs have also entered the race for the versatile midfielder.

Reports Andre Ayew would join Liverpool if his demands were met

Ayew has created 16 chances in Ligue 1 this season.

Ayew can play either on the wing or in the middle and this season he has scored eight goals, the most of any midfielder at the club.

It’s interesting that Pochettino chose to conduct a potential move over Skype and a free transfer would certainly fit in with the club’s new plans of sensible spending.

When Pochettino was hired over the summer by chairman Daniel Levy he was tasked with getting the club back into the Champions League, but he hasn’t managed it in his first season, with the club currently in sixth posisition .

Ayew, 25, has Champions League experience with Marseille and he is sure to add a lot to whichever team he joins this the summer.

Andre Ayew has a chance conversion rate of 23.5% this season.
