Some English Premier League clubs as well as Turkish giants Fenerbache have joined the scramble for exciting Nigeria striker Umar Aminu.
“Fenerbache and some clubs in the EPL are interested in Aminu,” a confidant told AfricanFootball.com
A move to England would be interesting, but the striker may not be granted a work permit because of his limited number of full international caps.
AfricanFootball.com has already reported that Besiktas have had a five million Euros bid for the former Flying Eagles striker rejected.
The Osmanlispor striker has a 15 million Euros buy-out clause in the contract he has with the Ankara
Aminu has shone in his debut season in the Turkish top flight.
The 21-year-old former Wikki Tourists star scored eight goals in 28 appearances in the league for his club to finish fifth on the table ahead of bigger clubs like Galatasaray, Trabzonspor and Antalyspor.
He has previously featured in the Turkish second-tier league with Samsunspor.
He has been capped by Nigeria at U20 and Olympic levels and made his Super Eagles debut against Egypt in March.
