The veteran who returned to the team since the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup believes the Super Falcons, who are nine-time champions of Africa, are set for glory.

She is upbeat that the team is good to go, especially with the young players who are hungry for success.

“I believe we want to win; no one enters a competition with the intention of losing; everyone wants to succeed,” the Al-Ithad winger stated in a brief video shared on the Super Falcons’ X account.

“Other nations are also aiming for victory, and we must keep that in mind as our goal.

“Some of the younger players on the team have yet to experience victory, so they may not fully understand what it feels like. I am convinced they possess a strong fighting spirit.

“We lost the title to South Africa in the last edition, but this time we are determined to reclaim it. It is crucial for the new players to experience that triumph as well.

Morocco will play host to the tournament from July 5-26, 2025, and the most successful team in Africa will face Tunisia, Algeria, and Botswana in group B.
