Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo is confident that defender Ola Aina will sign a new contract with the club, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

Aina's current deal expires in five months, and Forest risk losing him on a free transfer in the summer if a new agreement is not reached.
However, Santo is upbeat about the negotiations, saying: "I think there will be good news. Things are going well. I am positive and confident everything is going to be solved."
The club has recently secured new contracts for Santiago Murillo and Chris Wood, and Santo is hopeful that Aina will follow suit.

Aina joined Forest on a one-year contract in 2023, with the option of a one-year extension, which the club activated last summer.
