“The Winner Of The 2022/2023 Season Will Get N100 million.” Elegbeleye Reveals.

The Interim Management Committee( IMC) chairman, Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye has come to disclose the  prize money for the champion of the champions of the 2022/2023 Nigeria Professional Football League season.

The league now scheduled to start in January 8 is set to be in abridged format with the fixtures draw fixed for 28th of December.

While speaking on a sports show on Kennis Radio on Monday morning, the former Director General of the Nigeria Sports Commission confirmed that the winner will get N100 million as a cash reward.

"They promised to give last season's winner ( Rivers United) N50 million which they are yet to pay till now.

“We don't want to promise what we cannot do, the winner of the 2022/2023 season will get N100 million as a cash prize", Elegbeleye said on the station via BSNsport.
