The Black Stars will begin their preparations for their 2017 AFCON qualifiers against Mauritius with a nonresidential camping at the outskirts of Accra in order to afford Hearts the required space to prepare for their Esperance game.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winners were left with a stiff mountain to climb after conceding four goals without a reply in the first leg of their confederation cup tie against Esperance.

The Phobians ironically won the CAF Champions League in the year 2000 after dispatching Esperance by a 5-2 aggregate score line.

Hearts remain the only Ghanaian club involved in continental football but will have to pull off one of the most remarkable come backs if they are to continue their surge in the confederation cup and the GFA want to afford them the necessary space to try to have a go at the game.

‘’We are training at the outskirts of Accra from Thursday because we want to afford Hearts the required space to prepare for their game against Esperance,” Ibrahim Sannie Daara told Accra based Citi FM

“Once the game is done we will move to the Accra Sports stadium to begin preparations for the game against Mauritius.”
