It was all smile for Paul Onuachu on Sunday night as he found the back of the net for the first time in over seven months on his debut for former Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Paul Onuachu 29th minute opener propelled Trabzonspor to a big 3-0 win over Besiktas at the Papara Park.
The lanky striker nodded home inside box following a brilliant Enis Bardhi’s cross.
It was Onuachu’s first goal since he left KRC Genk for Southampton on February 1st, 2023. he enudred difficult spell in England as he failed to find the back of the net in his 12 appearances in all competitons for the Saints who dropped to the Sky Bet Championship from the Premier League at the end of last season.
He got substituted for Enis Destan after the break for picking up an injury. Anastasios Bakasetas and Edin Visca scored Trabzonspor's other goals.
