Super Eagles To Play Mali and Luxembourg In Two International Friendlies In Europe

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will take on Mali and Luxembourg in two international friendly matches in Europe in the next FIFA window, the Nigeria Football Federation have announced.

The three-time African champions will face Mali, ranked four places above them by FIFA at 63, at the Stade Robert Diochon in Rouen, France on Friday, 27 May.

The Eagles of Mali have already qualified for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations finals, having garnered 10 points from their first four matches of the qualification series, in a Group C that also has Equatorial Guinea, Benin Republic and South Sudan.

NFF’s FIFA Match Agent Jairo Pachon confirmed to thenff.com that the Super Eagles would then play Luxembourg, ranked 145th in the world, in Luxembourg on Wednesday, 1 June at a venue to be finalised in a few days.
