Super Eagles striker, Chisom Chikatara has described as mere talk the reported interest from the Moroccan side, Wydad Athletic Club (WAC).
News reel has been awash with the reported capture of the Abia Warriors marksman who is a standout performer at the ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Rwanda by the Casablanca based side.
Chikatara said he will make a categorical statement on his career future on or before the last day of the in month, January.
“Well, everything is just talk at the moment nothing is done and dusted as far as Wydad Casablanca is concerned.
“Right now I’m not sure of anything but I know for certain that 31st January will tell everything,” said Chikatara to supersport.com.
Chikatara however believed that his side’s sudden elimination at the ongoing CHAN in the hands of Guinea was divine.
“It’s made to be from the origin, I believe we were first before the last match against Guinea then suddenly we are out of the championship.
“Everybody played out their mind but it did not work out perfectly well for us,” said the Abia Warriors hitman.
Nigeria and neighbours, Niger did not qualify from Group C while leaders, Tunisia and Guinea progressed to the quarterfinals of the biennial football championship.
