Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti confirms Victor Osimhen will start against Milan in the Champions League, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Partenopei were without the red hot striker in the first leg of the quarter final tie at the San Siro where they lost 1-0 courtesy Bannecer’s lone strike.
After missing three games in total, Osimhen returned to the pitch yesterday against Hella Verona like one who has not being out for that long and at least his return means he should be ready to face Milan in the Champions League on Tuesday.
“He’ll start, yes. Osimhen has this physicality and speed, you can throw the ball up to him and he can protect it, use his head or use a change of pace, he has so many different alternatives.
He is a hero of these fans now, so there is always a wave of enthusiasm around him.” Spalletti told DAZN
Osimhen this season has scored 21 goals in 25 league appearances.
