Orlando Pirates are working around the clock to conclude a deal for Edwin Gyimah before the end of the week.

Bucs chairman Irvin Khoza has confirmed the club’s interest in the Ghanaian midfielder, who spent most of last season on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces from SuperSport United.

Aces are reportedly keen to hold onto Gyimah but Pirates are favourites to land the player, and SuperSport communications manager David Sikhosane expects a deal to happen this week still.

“It’s an open secret that Pirates are interested in him. We should have something before the end of the week,” he tells KickOff.com.
