Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Soulama Abdoulaye has attributed Asante Kotoko’ continental woes to their managerial recklessness.

Soulama fresh from his exploits of helping Hearts cop up an impressive 2-1 win over Djoliba in the CAF Confederation cup first leg tie.

The Phobians are overly impressive given their bitter rivals Kotoko’s well documented choking on the continental stage.

Soulama who was blamed for Kotoko’s shameful exit at the hands of Barrack Young Controllers last year has revealed that his former employers have to fix deep rooted problems before having a crack on the continent.

“Kotoko’s problem are deep rooted and they have to try fix it,” Soulama told Citi FM

“If you look at Hearts our performance is unexpected but for Kotoko the managerial problems are really hurting them.”

The Phobians will move closer to the money zone of the confederation cup if they avoid a defeat in the second leg of the tie at home.
