Solomon Asante looking forward to winning his third league title in Congo

Influential TP Mazembe winger Solomon Asante says he is working extremely hard to help his side win their third Congolese league title in four season.

Asante has been in stupendous form for the Black and Whites this season and has lightened up the CAF Champions League in the preliminary stages.

The former Berekum Chelsea man has been linked with a move to South Africa giants Orlando Pirates who are in the market for a creative winger.

Asante who has become an integral part of the Black Stars says he is only focused now on helping Mazembe win the league title this season.

“There are a lot of stuff that has been said and written but I hardly read or even hear some times ,” Asante said

“I am really just concentrating on helping Mazembe to win the league title this season.

“We have started well and we are looking to continue on that path.

“The most important thing for a player is to be playing and feeling important to your club and I am very happy how I am doing at the moment.”
