Ellis' team lost on aggregate 1-0 after a goalless affair in Pretoria leaving the reigning African champions without the Olympics ticket for the second consecutive time.

The South African gaffer attributed her team's inability to score to the fantastic performance of Super Falcons' shot stopper.

Ellis described Nnadozie as "magnificent" and she being that reason her team could not get the elusive goal.

"The goalkeeper was magnificent today. I think she stood between us and getting the victory."
