After champions Inter Milan drew 2-2 at Sampdoria, Zlatan Ibrahimovic celebrated his return to action with a goal as AC Milan climbed to the top of Serie A with a 2-0 win against Lazio.
In an interview with DAZN, Stefano Pioli expressed his unwavering support for Ibrahimovic:
"It's been four months since he last played, I'm happy he started well out there, that he's doing well," Pioli told DAZN.
"He's got this passion, I believe that apart from his evident talent it's the passion, the fire that he has inside him that makes training for him a pleasure... When you're like that you don't feel the advancing years."
In the 67th minute, the Swedish great, who turns 40 in three weeks, slid home the easiest of goals from Ante Rebic's low cross.
