On Sunday, Roma surrendered their first points in Serie A under Jose Mourinho, as Verona rallied from behind to win 3-2 on Igor Tudor's debut.

In the pouring rain, Lorenzo Pellegrini's brilliant backheel flick gave Roma a halftime lead as they sought a fourth consecutive win to open the season.

Soon after the break, Verona's Antonin Barak equalized, and five minutes later, Gianluca Caprari put the hosts ahead with a crisp finish.

Before the hour, Ivan Ilic diverted a Pellegrini cross into his own goal to draw Roma level, but Davide Faraoni's stunning volley clinched the win for Verona, ending a run of three consecutive defeats.
