As reported on by Tuttomercatoweb, Naithan Nandez landed in Cagliari today, ahead of a pre-season routine medical check and to start preparations for the new season with Cagliari.
Nandez to Inter has been one of the hot topics of the Italian transfer market window as of late, however it now seems any possible deal remains uncertain; when the Uruguayan was asked about it he declared: "I'm happy to be back. Inter? I don't know anything, I will have to speak to my agent. I surely won't go to the camp in Aritzo yet, but I will start training tomorrow in Asseminello". The midfielder just came back from an extended vacation period as he represented Uruguay in the Copa America in June and July.
We'll see if in the end Nandez will end up at Inter or if he will stay at Cagliari for another season.
