Andrè Onana will be the new Inter goalkeeper in 2022. The Cameroonian player has already signed a pre-contract with the Nerazzurri. According to France Football journalist Nabil Djellit, Onana already has an agreement with Inter starting from the 2022/2023 season. Therefore, he would arrive on a free transfer to the team coached by Simone Inzaghi to take the place of Samir Handanovic.

Onana plays in Ajax since 2015 and in the 18/19 season he was the protagonist of the wonderful adventure in the Champions League of the Dutch, who reached the semifinal, but were eliminated by Tottenham.

On 5 February 2021 he was banned for one year by UEFA, following a doping test carried out on 30 October 2020. On 10 June the disqualification was reduced to nine months.
