SERIE A - Conte-Inter, "different visions on technical project" led to divorce

"Different visions on the technical project for the future of the Company" led to the divorce between Antonio Conte and Inter: this is what emerges from the minutes of the Nerazzurri shareholders' meeting that took place on 8 July, of which Calcio e Finanza has read.

One of the shareholders asked for "clarification in relation to the reasons that led the Company to recognize a severance pay to the coach of the previous football season" and in this regard, the Nerazzurri CEO Giuseppe Marotta replied as follows:

"At the end of last season the Company and the coach met, and took note of some different visions regarding the technical project for the future of the Company; therefore, the parties decided by mutual agreement to terminate the reciprocal employment relationship. In the context of this agreement , as typically happens in the reference market, the Company paid the coach an amount (equal to approximately half of the remuneration provided for in the employment contract for the one 2021/2022), in order to remunerate the commitments undertaken by the coach in the context of the contractual termination ".
