In an Instagram post that appeared on the player's account, Ghanean striker Caleb Ekuban confirmed his impending move to Serie A side Genoa.

Ekuban, who last played at SuperLig club Trabzonspor, will move to Italy in a deal worth 2M Euros, as reported by Sky Sport. Ekuban was born and raised in Italy, so this is a return home for him. He came through the now third division relegated Chievo Verona's youth ranks, spending most of his time in the lower tiers of Italian football before joining Leeds in England and then Trabzonspor in Turkey.

He wrote a heartfelt good bye post to Trabzonspor fans, thanking them for their support and wishing the club the best of luck in the fututre. Ekuban will finally make his Serie A debut this season with the rossoblu, finally crowning his childhood dream. He's already represented Ghana at the international level, appearing in 9 matches and scoring three goals in the process.
