Rangers manger, Micheal Beale was full of encomium for his striker, Cyriel Dessers for his outstanding performance in the team’s 2-1 over Greenock Morton in the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup on Saturday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
Dessers was involved in all of the three goals, conceding a penalty which the opposition converted before scoring from the spot himself and then setting up the winner for Danilo all in the second half.
Beale after the game praised Dessers for his defensive contribution despite causing a penalty against his side.
“Danilo scored and Cyriel [Dessers] did fantastic in that goal tracking back, winning the ball and it was an excellent pass and which Danilo did well to finish it off.”
The Nigerian striker so far has played 5 games this season contributing 2 goals and 1 assist.
