After two days off, the Sampdoria squad were put through their paces once again on Tuesday as part of their preparations ahead of the league restart. Claudio Ranieri and his staff gave the players an afternoon session lasting around an hour and ten minutes on pitch two at the Mugnaini.

Warm-ups, neuromuscular activation and possession-based drills were all on the agenda, while Alex Ferrari was the only member of the squad not to take part, as he continues with his own rehabilitation programme. The players will be back in Bogliasco for a morning training session on Wednesday.
