With Jose Holebas moving to Premier League side Watford, and the future of Ashley Cole and Federico Balzaretti said to be unclear, the Stadio Olimpico outfit are in the summer market looking for a new left-back.

According to Rai Sport, Roma are still in talks with Augsburg over a possible move for Ghana defender Baba Rahman, but the Giallorossi have already identified Inter’s Santon as an alternative target, if they fail to sign 21-year-old.

It is also reported that Inter could sell Santon for a considerable offer.

It is worth mentioning that Santon rejected a chance to move to Watford, as the former Newcastle man reiterated his interest in playing for a top club.
