Super Eagles of Nigeria will likely experiment a new duo in attack when they play against Ukraine in an international friendly next month against Ukraine
Coach of the team Gernot Rohr has his mind set on trying out a new formation in attack base on the form of two players in the team as opposed to others who are yet to get going at their respective clubs.
The duo of Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze are likely to lead the attack of the team with Rohr keen on trying out the duo as a reward for their impressive start to the season and also as he believe they are the future of the team.
Chukwueze opened his goal account in his team 4-4 draw against Granada last weekend while Osimhen got off the mark with a brace for French Ligue 1 side Lille on his debut two weeks ago.
” The season is just starting so we wil pick players base on how they have settled at their respective clubs. Osimhen and Chukwueze have started really well and we will be happy to play them in attack, we believe they are the future of the team as well”, Rohr explained.
