Robbie KEANE announces quitting: "My career went much beyond what I expected"
Turning 39 next July, Irish star forward Robbie Keane announced quitting pro player football. Former Tottenham and LA Galaxy long-time hitman stated: "Starting from such a secluded spot as Crumlin United, I hit important football scenes, such as London, Milan, Los Angeles. That was all I was hoping when I was kid, and much more than that. I left home when I was 15, and it seems like a lifetime since then. I just needed a chance, and I got it. My career as a football player went much beyond what I expected from it".
