As part of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, newly appointed Tunisia head coach Sami Trabelsi has launched a reconciliation tour aimed at strengthening his squad.

Trabelsi, who was appointed by the Tunisia Football Federation a few weeks ago, has been tasked with ensuring a strong performance in the upcoming tournament. His mission includes resolving past disputes that led several key players to distance themselves from the national team.

Key Players Targeted for Reintegration

On Monday, Trabelsi met with prominent players, including Youssef Msakni, Aïssa Laïdouni, and Ferjani Sassi, in a bid to restore unity and reinforce Tunisia’s squad ahead of the tournament. The coach is eager to bring back experienced players who can boost the team’s chances in Morocco.

Tough Group Stage Challenge Against Nigeria

Tunisia is set for a challenging group-stage clash against the Super Eagles of Nigeria, making squad cohesion even more crucial for their AFCON ambitions.

With Trabelsi's efforts to restore stability and strengthen team spirit, Tunisia aims to mount a strong challenge in the continental competition.
