Chukwueze's future at AC Milan appears uncertain as the Italian giants are reportedly considering offloading him before the transfer window closes.

The Nigerian international has struggled to make a significant impact since his summer move from Villarreal, failing to meet expectations, according to reports from Calciomercato. His recent defensive error in the Milan derby, which allowed Stefan de Vrij to score the equalizer has further complicated matters and strained his relationship with new manager Sergio Conceicao.

With AC Milan's pursuit of Fiorentina's Riccardo Sottil intensifying, the club appears willing to allow Samuel Chukwueze to depart. While West Ham United initially expressed interest earlier in the day, Fulham has emerged as the frontrunner, making a more concrete approach for the Nigerian winger in the final hours of the transfer window.

However, securing Chukwueze's signature presents significant challenges for Fulham. The rapidly approaching transfer deadline creates a major obstacle, leaving very little time to negotiate and finalize such a complex deal.

Furthermore, Fulham's reported free transfer signing of Willian also influenced their pursuit of Chukwueze.
