Renowned Hearts of Oak fan Haruna Futah blasts board for Eddie Ansah's appointment as stop-gap coach

Former Hearts management member Abdul Aziz Haruna Futah is at variance with the club over the appointment of goalkeepers’ trainer Eddie Ansah as stop-gap.

Ansah, an ex-international goalkeeper, was told to hold the fort after the club parted ways with head coach Herbert Addo and his assistant Dauda Lutterodt.

Futah believes that decision will back fire and worsen their current problems.

In his first game in-charge, Ansah supervised a team which was beaten 2-1 by Ebusua Dwarfs in the Elite Cup on Wednesday.

"The management isn't serious, I tell you. Appointing Eddie Ansah as the interim coach would worsen our woes. He is not competent enough to handle the almighty oak tree," Futah told Asempa FM.

Ansah was former Ghana goalkeepers’ coach under many foreign coaches including Mariano Baretto, Claude Le Roy, Milovan Rajevac and Goran Stevanovic.

He had a short stint with South African side Black Leopards during their stay in the PSL three seasons ago.

It has been speculated that Hearts would appoint former Berekum Chelsea and Amidaus Professionals coach Tony Lokko.
