As Remo Stars take on Rivers United at the Nigeria Professional Football League Super Six Playoff on Monday, River United manager, Stanley Eguma is planning to manage the game with a different approach, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The Pride of Rivers on Saturday were the only victorious team at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, defeating Sunshine Stars by a lone goal.
Ebube Duru’s second half penalty gave the defending champions maximum points.
So ahead of the matchday two against the Sky Blue Stars, Eguma reiterated that the Port Harcourt team is battle ready for other teams in the competition.
“Every game has different tactics,” he stated in a chat with the club media as per Daily Post.
“Remo Stars is not Sunshine Stars, Enyimba or Insurance, so as they come, we will bring out our tactical plans.
“We have our plans to face our next opponents.”
Rivers United top the NPL Super Six playoff table with three points.
