Ghana defender Jonathan Mensah has resolved to take every game for Evian TG from now until the end of the season as a final.

The Roses are locked in the relegation dogfight in Ligue 1 with 12 games to the end of the season.

Mensah has returned to the side in good form after helping Ghana win silver at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

Evian come up against bottom side Metz on Saturday and the Ghana defender says the game, just like the remaining in the season ought to be treated as a final.

“Preparing for our match vs Metz on Saturday. Every match now till the season ends is a final #AllezLesRoses #ETGFC,” the Ghana international posted on his Instagram page.

Evian are in desperate need of a good run of results having won just twice in their last five league matches.

Manager Pascal Dupraz has come under intense pressure as a result of the side’s recent poor form.
