The fine form of on loan Wolfsburg striker Victor Osimhen for Charleroi has sparked controversy ?between both teams after his brace which earned Charleroi a 3-2 win over Zulte-Waregem

Osimhen joined Charleroi on loan from Wolfsburg till the end of the season with the Belgium side agreeing a deal to sign him on a permanent transfer at the end of the season for a fee in the region of £900,000.

Wolfsburg were willing to cash in on the forward due to his inability to grow as expected after their huge outlaw on him following his exploits at the 2015 U17 World Youth Championship ?where he scored ten goals to power Nigeria to the title. They reportedly paid €3m to sign him three years ago.

However they have had a change of mind and are now insisting on having him back in the summer after his recent goal rush in Belgium with four goals in six league games and one in the cup.

Last night a scored a brace within a space of six minutes to power Charleroi to victory against Zulte-Waregem, ironically same team he had trials with but was rejected on the grounds of not been good enough for their first team.
