Rashid Sumaila wins Man of the Match award as Al Qadsia progress in AFC Cup with Ahal win
Ghana defender Rashid Sumaila was voted Man of the Match after helping Al Qadsia qualify for the knockout stage of the AFC Cup with a 1-0 win at Ahal on Wednesday.

Sumaila put in a solid defensive display to help the visitors keep a vital clean sheet to help them secure qualification and regain top spot in Group C.
With Istiqlol being held to a goalless draw at Erbil, Al Qadsia return to the top of the group with 10 points, two clear off Istiqlol.

Al Qadsia have already qualified to the next stage of the competition with one game to spare.
