Rasheedat Ajibade provided an assist as Atletico Madrid reach the Spanish Copa de La Reina final with a big victory over Charity Adule and Alhama CF on Tuesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports
Atletico thrashed Alhama at the Estadio Municipal de Butarque by four goals to nil to reach the 2023 final to hold on Saturday.
Majarin opened score in the 5th minute of the game after she controlled the ball and hit a thunderous strike to beat goalkeeper Laura.
The second goal came in the 37th minute after Ajibade released the pass to Banini who calmly curved the ball into the net as the Rojiblanco ended the first half two nil up.
Ajibade was substituted for the third goal scorer, Eva Navaro who received a deep pass from Medina, took advantage of an error by Lena, cut inside the area and scored with a low shot close to the right post.
After a good counterattack, Lundkvist scored the fourth goal in the 74th minute seal the win and a final match up with Madrid CF on Saturday at the Butarque Stadium.
