Raphinha sets sights on extended Barcelona stay after prolific start

Raphinha says he wants to extend his contract with Barcelona and finish his playing career at the Catalan club.

The Brazil forward has made an outstanding start to the 2026/2027 season, scoring 11 goals and providing three assists in seven appearances for Barcelona.

Despite that form, Raphinha was not included among this year’s nominees for the Ballon d’Or.

Barcelona have taken maximum points from their opening six La Liga matches, collecting 18 points.
