Ikorodu City's struggle to start of life in the Nigeria Premier Football League continued after a home loss to reigning champions, Rangers International on Wednesday, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.

The rescheduled match day 2 encounter ended 0-1 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Stadium courtesy of a first half goal by Chinemerem Ugwueze.

Ugwueze put the Flying Antelopes in front in the 25th following a header from a corner kick by Kazeem Ogunleye after dominating proceedings.

The Oga Boys side tried to equal score, but the scoreline remained unchanged at the end of the first forty-five minutes.

The hosts hit things up the more to get something out of the game, but the defense of the Enugu side remained resolute to make sure the leave Lagos with the three points.
