Super Falcons striker Rafiat Sule was in action for Lumezzane Women as they played a 1-1 draw with Arezzo Women in the Italian Serie B game played on Sunday at the Stadio Comunale, Città di Arezzo, reports Nigeriasoccernet.com.
Rafiat who was a standout player for Lumezzane Women in their promotion from Serie C to Serie B and winning of the Coppa Italia Cup last season started the game and was instrumental in the build-up to Lumezzane's goal in the early second half.
Her team got pecked back at the closing stages of the game, leaving the final scores at 1-1. It was Lumezzane's 3rd Serie B game of the season, and it's been a total of 4 points for them from a possible 9 after winning one, drawing one, and losing the other.
Rafiat Sule was in action for 73 minutes during the encounter. Although yet to score this season, Sule is undoubtedly one of the best strikers in the league. She has scored over 45 goals in her two seasons in Italy, and it's a matter of time before the prolific finisher finds her scoring boot again.
