The 25-year-old played 74 minutes of Krasnodar’s semi final triumph over giants CSKA Moscow on Wednesday.

Portuguese striker Hugo Almeida scored what eventually proved the winner in the 71st minute to put the Yellow-Greens through on a 1-0 aggregate after playing out a goalless draw in the first leg clash.

Rabiu Mohammed has not won any silverware at top flight club level.

He only has a Ligue 2 championship medal to his credit after helping Evian TG secure promotion to the French top flight in 2011.

Kuban Krasnodar will now face Lokomotiv Moscow in the finals of the Russian Cup.
