As reported by Footy Extras, Manchester United have allegedly asked super-agent Jorge Mendes about a possible transfer deal for Barcelona ace Ansu Fati.
The Red Devils have a great relationship with Mendes, who has represented a couple of their players down the seasons, as well as their former head coach Jose Mourinho.
He most notably represents Cristiano Ronaldo, who switched back to Manchester United from Juventus this summer, and Mundo Deportivo claim the club also used this opportunity to enquire about Ansu.
The Spaniard is one of the continent’s most exciting talents, and his Blaugrana future could be in some doubt as he is in the final year of his current deal at the Nou Camp.
The Red Devils already have plenty of attacking talent after landing Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho this summer, but there is surely little doubt that a talent like Ansu would be an upgrade on players like Anthony Martial, Jesse Lingard and Marcus Rashford.
However, as Mundo Deportivo report the La Liga heavyweights are confident about keeping hold of their prized asset. The 18-year-old forward is one of many big-name Jorge clients, and this is an entourage who knows how to get big moves for the stars he represents.
