Liverpool could allegedly still be open to sanctioning the sale of Naby Keita this month. The 26-year-old Guinea international has flattered to deceive so far on Merseyside following a £48m arrival from RB Leipzig three years ago.

Often associated with an early departure from the Reds, he had seemed to be afforded another stay of execution from the German head coach Jurgen Klopp’s plans. However, according to a recent report from ESPN, the all-around midfielder could be available for the right proposal this month.

The same report says Divock Origi, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Takumi Minamino, could all be offloaded before the deadline passes. Unlike Divock and Takumi, Naby has featured prominently in the opening weeks of the campaign – starting both PL fixtures.
