Mohamed Salah's current contract with Liverpool runs until summer 2023, but the rumors say there is no any extension. Interestingly, Jurgen Klopp has another opinion.

Many people believe The Egypt international will never fit in the Premier League after two seasons with Chelsea (2014-2016). However, he has now become a completely different person.

Since arriving from AS Roma around a €42 million deal in summer 2017, the 29-year-old became a great phenomena. Salah has transformed as one of the key Liverpool players until now.

Unfortunately, the bonds between Mohamed Salah with The Reds will only remain for the next two years. However, the club boss, Klopp is optimistic that the forward is going to stay.

"So we are all adults, all professionals and when there are talks, there are talking. Then, when there's a decision, we will tell you. With two years left you can imagine that they are talking, that's it," the manager said, quoting from the official website.

Jurgen Klopp expects the 29-year-old to keep breaking records in the Merseyside team. After all, the Egyptian King will enter the hall of fame club just like Ian Rush, Roger Hunt or Steven Gerrard.

"Breaking records is great and the records he's broken already are absolutely insane. There's a reason why nobody did it. It's really difficult. He did it and if there are any records out there, he will know about them," he added.

Jurgen Klopp said Liverpool still needs Mohamed Salah's service and obviously will give another contract for him. The forward already became the 11th club's all time scorer with a total 126 goals in 204 appearances.
