Tottenham have announced their squad numbers for the upcoming season, with Manchester City target Harry Kane keeping the number ten shirt.

Kane has worn number 10 for Tottenham Hotspur since the 2015-16 season, but the England captain appears to want to leave the club.

He has three years left on his Tottenham contract, but Premier League champions, City have made last season's Golden Boot winner their priority signing after securing the signing of Aston Villa's Jack Grealish in a British record fee of £100 million.

Tottenham reportedly turned down a bid of a similar amount for Kane earlier in the transfer window.

According to reports, Kane, who is set to return to training with Spurs on Friday, is the subject of a second offer from City worth around £150 million.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Kane was named as one of the Spurs players to be assigned squad numbers for the upcoming season, and he will wear the number 10.
