All summer it seemed that Harry Kane would make a mega transfer to Manchester City, but the clubs ultimately failed to agree on a transfer fee. The deal jumped on the towering demands of Tottenham, which wanted at least 180 million euros. A few days ago, Kane himself pulled the plug on the soap by announcing that he will remain with the Spurs.

But Kane demands butter with the fish for that, knows the Evening Standard. The star player would like a salary that reflects Tottenham's asking price, as he is currently not one of the top earners in the Premier League. Kane would therefore demand a weekly salary of 465,000 euros.

Only the 28-year-old striker is not in the strongest negotiating position, because his current agreement will continue until 2024. So Tottenham do not have to rush to extend that. On the other hand, they certainly don't want to risk kicking their talisman in London after an already turbulent summer...
