Everton manager Rafa Benitez says he has been encouraged by the way his players are performing in training, but admits he would still like to bring in more faces before the summer transfer deadline.
"I'm sure if you ask every manager, they want to improve and they want to strengthen their squad," he said.
"It's still early and we still have to wait a little bit until the end of the transfer window but I'm happy with the way the players are training", the Spanish trainer said.
When asked about the future of James Rodriguez, Benitez added: "I've had my conversation with him at the beginning and so he knows my ideas. Obviously now he's not available (due to needing to self-isolate) so it's not an issue for tomorrow.
"We will discuss every single player with their agent and then try to find the best solution for us, the club and also for the player."
