Last month, Ronaldo signed a two-year contract with United after the club agreed to a £12.8 million agreement with Juventus, which could be worth just under £20 million with add-ons.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner took a wage reduction to join United, earning £475,000 per week at Old Trafford, down from £900,000 per week at Juventus.

According to the Daily Star, Ronaldo's contract includes a provision that stipulates he will receive an extra £1 million if he wins the Ballon d'Or, the UEFA Player of the Year, or if United win the Champions League.

It wouldn't be surprising if Cristiano Ronaldo added to his amazing total of five Ballon d'Ors, five Champions Leagues, and a record three UEFA Player of the Year awards at the time of writing.
