Patrik Schick seals Bayer comeback victory against Freiburg

Bayer came from behind to beat Freiburg 2-1 in the sixth round of the German championship on 18 October.

Freiburg took the lead in the 14th minute when Derry Scherhant found the net. Bayer responded quickly, with Ibrahim Maza equalising five minutes later.

The sides remained level until the 76th minute, when Patrik Schick scored Bayer’s second goal to put the hosts in front. Freiburg were unable to find another equaliser before the final whistle.
